New Year, New opportunities

2009 crashed through the door and the workload has gone right up. I'm not complaining. It's nice to get interest from new clients. The diary is starting to look busy for the coming wedding season and I can't wait.

I've organised another link in the photog support network so if there is a case of illness when there is a job to complete there is another alternate photog to call. It's hard to find someone who you really rate and would be happy to send to a job. In this case thanks go to Paul Empson for being a real brick and offering the cover. I rate his work; take a look at http://www.paulempson.co.uk if you have a minute.

I've been giving a critical eye to the EOS 50D, which is not giving as good results as the predecessor, the EOS 40D. The pixel count has taken quite a hike upwards and the standard lenses are not giving the resolving power required at the density of the photo-receptors in the 50D. The answer? Buy really expensive glass. Well that's ok if you're Canon raking it in.
